In brief
This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking services, or externally loaded fonts. Personal data is only processed insofar as this is technically necessary to deliver the pages or when you contact us yourself.
Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by a provider in Germany. When you access the pages, technically necessary data is processed, in particular your IP address, date and time of access, the requested file, the amount of data transferred, browser type and operating system, and the previously visited page (referrer). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). A data processing agreement has been concluded with the hosting provider (Art. 28 GDPR). Log files are deleted after a short period unless they are needed to investigate a security incident.
Contacting us
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details in order to answer your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.
Demo pages and external links
The demo pages of our Joomla extensions under /demo can load map data from OpenStreetMap. This only happens after you have given your consent on the respective page (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR); your IP address is then transmitted to the OpenStreetMap Foundation. Links to other websites, such as GitHub, lead to services that are subject to their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.
